The Bradley Family Foundation (TBFF) is a private nonprofit grant making organization that  evaluates and awards grants annually to local organizations that are performing activities specific to the Foundation’s mission, with programs focused on the education of our youth being of paramount importance. The Foundation designates 100% of grant monies to directly reach beneficiaries in our local community, which includes the lower mainland of Vancouver B.C. Canada and Vancouver Island. It is important to note that grant requests will be accepted by invitation only.  An invitation from the Foundation to apply for a grant does not imply a grant will be issued, and grant dollar amounts allocated to organizations approved for a grant are subject to change. Unsolicited grant requests submitted may not be considered or receive a reply.

The goal of The Bradley Family Foundation is to support educational programs that help and inspire people to achieve self-sufficiency. The Foundation is non-sectarian and makes grants to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with a focus on our C.A.S.E. program (Communications, Arts, Sciences, and Entrepreneurship) at the high school level. Additionally, the Foundation on occasion supports relief agencies serving people affected by emergencies and natural disasters, as well as initiatives for animal rescue and rehabilitation, environmental protection, and preservation. The Foundation can also elect to support individuals who, on their own missions, contribute to the well-being of others.

Within the C.A.S.E. program, TBFF emphasizes Applied Arts at the high school level. It offers hands-on, apprenticeship-based programs in fields such as robotics, coding, recording arts and sciences, filmmaking, and craftsmanship in wood and metalwork, as well as fabrication and prototyping. These programs focus on fine motor skill activities and include the trades, where our grant-making efforts also align with a trade school education.

Qualifying grantee organizations are non-sectarian IRS 501(c)(3) entities involved in educational and social services consistent with the Foundation’s goals. TBFF is also aligned to collaborate with other private family Foundations in support of common goals, assisting in delivering more measurable results. Organizations must be certified under the IRS 501(c)3 code in order to qualify for grants from this Foundation.

The grant request process at TBFF is by invitation only. Potential grantees are engaged in a series of meetings to explore collaborative potential, which may lead to an invitation to apply for a grant.

The Bradley Family Foundation is based in Kirkland, Washington, USA.
